Netflix’s Stranger Things Reimagined as 80s Sitcom
The intro for Netflix’s 80s sci-fi/horror hit Stranger Things gets re-imagined as an 80s sitcom.
Stranger Things, Netflix’s homage to the 80s, combines elements from popular shows, movies, and books from that era. Everything about the show is distinctly 80s. From the characters to the show’s intro.
But Stranger Things doesn’t reference the classic, cheesy 80s sitcom intro. Granted, it’s not supposed to. But that didn’t keep YouTuber Tim Bennet from making an 80s sitcom intro for the popular show. Just like the show pays homage to 80s, Bennet’s reimagined video combines all the tropes from sitcom intro’s from that decade, complete with a Randy Newman song.
