Hannibal, Season 3, Episode 12: The Number of the Beast is 666
Has the Great Becoming been interrupted?
Every episode since NBC announced it was canceling Hannibal has seemed abbreviated and sped up so as not to have as many loose ends when the last episode ends. “The Number of the Beast is 666,” with its changing of a major plot point from the novel*, was no exception. Even worse- it felt like a cheat with no steam left to get to the final episode.

* One can’t help to think if Freddie was still Freddy things would have remained mostly the same.
