The End of the Tour

End of the Tour Review

Don’t judge the writer by the movie.

The wrong director and unconvincing actors turn the character driven The End of the Tour into nothing more than a series of scenes where David Foster Wallace (Jason Segal) waxes poetic about life and the meaning of success with Jesse Eisenberg’s (in his usual boring acting style) David Lipsky along for the ride.

(P.S. We should feel something more at the end, but we never really know Wallace enough to care or care that Lipsky cared.)
